Ceremony
Our ceremony will be held at the Assiniboine Park Pavilion, at 55 Pavilion Crescent. The weather forecast is sunny and approximately 30 degrees at the time of the ceremony. We hope to have the ceremony outside surrounding the Pavilion's pond at the back, with the reception indoors. A run event will be taking place in the park the same day, so it may reduce available parking.
Reception
After the ceremony, and after the wedding party takes a few photos, we’ll be hosting a brunch reception catered by Assiniboine Park Catering. Food will be labelled to accommodate people with dietary restrictions. There should be something for everyone.

FAQ
- 11:30am please. Our ceremony starts at noon.
- Semi-formal dress code.
- Both outdoors and indoors, weather permitting. Our goal is to have the ceremony outside at the back of the pavillion on the patio space surrounding the pond. Reception will be indoors.
- A brief pause for photos, followed by a brunch reception.
- Our reception will be open seating. Everyone's nice though so don't be shy!
- Yes, there will be a brunch buffet. But we recommend eating something before you come, as you'll have get through the ceremony, and a break for wedding party photos before brunch is served.
- There will be a cash bar, but there will be a glass of sparkling white on us for a toast to celebrate. 🥂
- Please indicate your dietary needs on the rsvp form, and the venue will do their best to accommodate.
- Your presence on our big day is what's most important to us, however if you wish to give us a gift of presentation (cash, cheque or e-transfer to dan@quicksheep.com) it will be gratefully accepted. A wedding card box will be at the venue for this purpose. We do not have a gift registry.
- Please refrain from taking photos during the official ceremony, but you are welcome to take pictures at the reception. We'd love if you could share them with us by emailing them to deniseanddaniel2023@gmail.com. You can also hashtag your photos on social media with the tag #denisedaniel2023. As a special note please don't post photos of children on social media without the permission of a parent.
